Use this guide when the Main Villa and Studio are at the same property and guests can book either accommodation separately. The finished structure will look like this:

Before you begin

Confirm that guests can book the villa and studio separately. If they are always booked together, create one bookable accommodation for the entire property instead.
1

Create one property

Create Quinta do Pinhal as the property. The property represents the whole destination and contains both accommodations.
2

Add the Main Villa

Create a bookable accommodation named Main Villa. Set its accommodation type, booking mode, and guest capacity.Add one available Main Villa. This represents the real villa a guest will occupy.
3

Add the Studio

Create another bookable accommodation named Studio. Give it its own capacity and add one available Studio.
4

Add shared spaces to the property

Add spaces used by guests from both accommodations to Quinta do Pinhal.Typical examples include:
  • Garden
  • Swimming pool
  • Parking area
  • Shared terrace
Do not duplicate these spaces under the Main Villa and Studio.
5

Add rooms to the Main Villa

Add only the spaces included with a Main Villa booking, such as its bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and bathrooms.
6

Add rooms to the Studio

Add only the spaces included with a Studio booking, such as its sleeping area, kitchenette, and bathroom.
7

Add separate details and rates

Give each accommodation its own photographs, occupancy, amenities, description, and price. A guest should be able to compare the Main Villa and Studio.
8

Review availability

Confirm that HostDear shows one active Main Villa and one active Studio. Taking either one out of service should reduce only that accommodation’s availability.

Offer the Studio with the Main Villa

If a guest booking the Main Villa may also reserve the Studio, offer the Studio as an add-on to the Main Villa. The Studio remains a bookable accommodation. The add-on defines how it can accompany another booking; it does not create another studio.
Do not configure the Studio as an add-on if it should never accompany a Main Villa booking. Do not create a duplicate Studio to represent the add-on.

Where should a space go?

Ask who receives the space:
The setup is correct when a guest can distinguish the two accommodations and can see which areas are private or shared.
